A charitable gift to any of the following Geauga Park District Foundation funds and endowments is an investment in the natural assets and beauty of Geauga County. Your gift will ensure that magnificent parks and top-notch programming will be available now and for many generations to come.
Estate gifts or contributions of stock or cash may should be directed to The Geauga Park District Foundation and clearly earmarked designated for the desired endowment or fund. Gifts made “in memory” or “in honor” of a friend or loved one will be acknowledged and will be listed in Geauga Park District’s Annual Report.

Chip Henry Institute for Outdoor Adventure
The Chip Henry Institute for Outdoor Adventure has been established by Geauga Park District Foundation as a memorial to Charles "Chip" Henry, Geauga County Probate & Juvenile Court Judge, whose life's work and passion was to make a lasting impact on young people, and who believed that adventures in Nature are critical to healthy development. The mission of the institute is to nurture youth through outdoor adventure. Its vision is to be the premier program for youth that will provide skills and experiences leading to life-long pursuits of exploring and enjoying the natural world.
Lou Rorimer Founders Endowment Fund
The Lou Rorimer Founders Endowment Fund was created in 2003 to provide for the future administrative needs for the Geauga Park District Foundation in its efforts to support Geauga Park District and its mission.
Geneva T. Bateman Educational Endowment Fund
The Geneva T. Bateman Educational Endowment Fund was established for Geauga Park District's Naturalist Department to purchase materials or equipment needed for public educational programs and/or for educational exhibits at The West Woods Nature Center. The fund was established by the Geneva T. Bateman Revocable Trust in 2004 such that the interest is available on an annual basis.

Geauga Park District Foundation Unrestricted Endowment
The purpose of this fund is to provide unrestricted support for the programs and activities of the Geauga Park District Foundation to assist Geauga Park District as it works to protect and conserve natural resources while connecting people with the natural world around them. The fund was established in 2007 and is managed by the Foundation, through a committee of endowment fund trustees, for the organization's future needs.
Geauga Park District Bridle Trail Fund
Established in 2010 by the Geauga County Chapter of the Ohio Horseman’s Council, the Geauga Park District Bridle Trail Fund provides for the maintenance and development of bridle trails open to the public across the Park District.
