What is Tracks n Treads (TnT)?
Tracks n Treads (TnT) is an exciting FREE program to help you move towards a healthier life.
TnT encourages you to use your Geauga Park District trails to reach your fitness goals.
TnT works in two ways: move at your own pace, or join with a group on scheduled TnT fitness hikes.
Is TnT Right For Me?
Yes! TnT is for those who want to slowly get themselves in better shape, and for those who exercise regularly.
You can personalize TnT by picking the activities you enjoy and a difficulty level you’re comfortable with. No matter what your fitness level, TnT can work for you.
Why Should I Get Involved ?
The Surgeon General
reports that physical activity helps people live longer more productive lives.
Just by minimally
increasing your daily level of activity you can:
- Reduce the risk of developing diabetes and colon cancer.
- Reduce your blood pressure and feelings of depression.
Those are great health benefits to
motivate you! But TnT will also reward
you with prizes! Complete 20 trails in
8 different parks in a year’s time and you’ll receive a Tracks n Treads prize and a 20% off discount coupon to use at Geauga Park
District Nature Stores.

How Do I Get Started ?
Getting started with TnT is as easy as a walk in the park. Fill out the registration form, drop it off at The West Woods Nature Center or the Donald W. Meyer Center in Big Creek Park, and pick up a free TnT Trail Card.
Or download one by clicking here.
The Trail Card will list every trail, its difficulty level and a check box for you to mark once you’ve completed it.
You can also use the Park District’s newsletter, Treeline Telegraph, to find scheduled TnT group hikes. Just look for the TnT logo next to program descriptions and join other people who believe that staying active IS more than an idea...it’s a way of life!
