Geauga Park District is a proud supporter of our arts community and offers exhibits, programming & events to highlight arts inspired by nature.
The West Woods Nature Center, located in The West Woods, 9465 Kinsman Road, Russell Township, and the Donald W. Meyer Center located in Big Creek Park, 9160 Robinson Road, Chardon both offer regularly scheduled art exhibits. Exhibits are open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The process of creating art demands that one slows down to focus on the details of
nature and enables the artist to capture and record memorable nature discoveries
which might otherwise be lost.
Nature provides artists with an endless source of inspiration and subject matter. If
you're an artist, or nature lover, then making frequent stops at our two nature centers
should become a ritual for you. Check out the listings above for shows currently on exhibition and those coming up.
