The free 17th Annual Nature Arts Festival will be held on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3, from 10 am to 5 pm in The West Woods at 9465 Kinsman Road (Rt. 87) in Russell Township.
The show offers something for all ages and features art for sale in countless mediums from wood, to charcoal, to clay, to photography, to paint and everything in between. For the adults, this show will features regional artists and unique peices and gifts. For the youngsters in the family, the art show will feature exciting activities geared to bring out the budding artist.
Come to shop or just come to browse the inside and outside displays, listen to an eclectic blend of live music, get some delicious festival style food at the Hungry Heron Cafe and spend a day doing something out of the ordinary with your family.
For those with a working passion for the arts, there will be several workshops and demonstrations offered to assist in the perfection of your skills as an artist or just to perk your interest in nature inspired arts.
The festival is free and free transportation from various parking lots to the event will be offered on Saturday and Sunday. Make a whole weekend of art appreciation by also visiting the Chardon Square Arts Festival (located at the intersection of SR6 and SR44) on Sunday.
