Geauga Park District strives to connect children with the most inspiring elements of the Great Outdoors, and when it comes to our programming, we're all synced up with this part of our mission.

Programs

Here are the currently scheduled programs geared specifically to children, although most programs are also family friendly. For those that require registration, click the Find a Program/Event button above to sign up.

Timbertots: What's the Weather? (Ages 3-5 w/adult only)
Friday, April 19, 10-11 AM or 1-2 PM, Observatory Park, Robert McCullough Science Center
Saturday, April 20, 10-11 AM, Observatory Park, Robert McCullough Science Center
Explore the wonderful world of weather with hands-on activities and fun. Program indoors and out, weather permitting, so dress accordingly. Registration required. Wheelchair/stroller accessible.

Timbertots: Animal Babies (Ages 3-5 w/adult only)
Sunday, May 5, 3-4 PM, Walter C. Best Wildlife Preserve, Sunset Shelter
Tuesday, May 7, 10-11 AM or 1-2 PM, The West Woods Nature Center
Join Nora the Explorer on an adventure to discover that spring is a time for animal babies! HeldĀ  outdoors, weather permitting, so please dress accordingly. Registration required. Wheelchair/stroller accessible.

Homeschool Days for Ages 5-8 and 9-12
Friday, June 7, 9:30-11 AM, The West Woods, Turkey Ridge
Topics will include animals and plants with fun-filled activities. It is preferred that adults attend each age group in which they have children. Snack included. Registration required; please register children only; adults attend to assist.

Timbertots: Exploring Insects! (Ages 3-5 w/ adult only)
Saturday, June 15, 1-2 PM, Swine Creek Reservation, Woods Edge
Tuesday, June 18, 10-11 AM or 1-2 PM, Sunnybrook Preserve, Lodge
Children will be going buggy with excitement while exploring our insect friends! Held mostly outdoors, weather permitting, so please dress accordingly. Registration required.
