Parks Map

The natural features of Geauga County were formed in the wake of retreating glaciers more than 15,000 years ago. As you travel the byways of the county, take notice of the sandstone ledges, rolling meadows, wetlands, dense forests, lakes, and cold-water streams that are all part of Geauga County’s natural heritage.

Picnic shelters, restrooms and trails are offered throughout the Park District, yet great care is taken to provide access to areas without detracting from the natural beauty that ultimately draws each of us into the parks. Geauga Park District’s philosophy has always been to stress preservation over development while still providing amenities for public use.
