We invite you to join our dedicated core of volunteers to help "preserve, conserve and protect the natural features of Geauga County and to provide the opportunity for people to enjoy and appreciate those resources."
Together Geauga Park District volunteers donate thousands of hours annually, but as a volunteer you will contribute more than just time. Volunteers assist with children's programs as Program Assistants, others enjoy hosting or helping with special events, some offer their skills and knowledge to aid with skiing, canoeing, and nature programs, and still more find the time to assist with trail maintenance and much, much more! Volunteers have always been a major force behind Geauga Park District and continue to be an integral component in our current and future successes.
Opportunities
As a Geauga Park District volunteer you'll have the opportunity to contribute time, energy, knowledge and skills to enhance many of the programs and events that are offered or to help keep the parks clean and safe for everyone's enjoyment.
Together Geauga Park District volunteers donate more than 3,500 hours annually, but as a volunteer you will contribute more than just time. Volunteers are truly a vital part of the overall success of Geauga Park District in numerous ways.
Volunteers assist with children's programs as Naturalist Assistants, others enjoy hosting or helping with special events, some offer their skills and knowledge to aid with skiing, canoeing, and nature programs, and still more find the time to assist with trail maintenance and much, much more!

There are numerous volunteer opportunities available at
Geauga Park District; a few examples are listed below.
Some tasks are seasonal, while others require a longer
commitment. Training is available for most volunteer
opportunities, and we try to match your talents and
interests with well-suited opportunities. Upon
application, you will be contacted to schedule a brief
interview to become better acquainted with Geauga Park
District and to discuss your availability. Volunteers
for Children's Programs, Trailgating, and Bike Patrol
must be fingerprinted before they can participate in
these activities.
