Contributions to Geauga Park District can be made through the Foundation for Geauga Parks, an independent, non-profit, 501(c)3 fundraising organization created to raise money to fund community engagement with nature through education, preservation, conservation and appreciation of the unique natural character of Geauga County. Over the past 37 years, the Foundation has raised and donated more than $4 million dollars for Geauga Park District, significantly contributing to the development of:

  • The Rookery
  • The West Woods and The West Woods Nature Center
  • Observatory Park and its Nassau Astronomical Station telescope rehabilitation
  • The Chip Henry Institute for Outdoor Adventure
  • Nature Scopes and the purchase of binoculars (since 2005) for nearly 4,000 Geauga County fifth-grade students
