  • 2019 Reservations

    Start dates for 2019 facility reservations have been released, once again giving priority to Geauga County residents. Geauga County residents will be able to make 2019 reservations beginning December 3 starting at 8 a.m. online and by phone. Out-of-county residents will be able to make 2019 reservations beginning January 1 online and January 2 by phone.

  • Request for Proposals: Horse-Drawn Sap Sled

  • Ropes Course Season Ending September 30

    Kayak/canoe borrowing season has now closed at Headwaters Park. Thanks for another great year! Meanwhile, at Claridon Woodlands, September ropes course hours have shifted to Thursdays and Fridays 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The last day for ropes of the season will be Sunday, September 30.   • Introducing the New Duane Ferris Trail

    Geauga Park District’s first naturalist, Duane Ferris, often spoke of his favorite walk at one of his favorite places, Eldon Russell Park, for its scenic views of the property and natural wetland. Today this walk is an official trail, named for him and open for everyone to explore, in line with his mission to connect people to the natural world.     Geauga Park District and University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center are excited to introduce a new collaboration with a focus on health, aimed at making sure Geauga County residents are aware of all the awesome and totally free ways their parks can help them get and stay fit all year round.
