Claridon Woodlands - Aggregate

Geauga Park District is seeking bids for aggregate for all trail systems located in a new park development. It is the intent of this bid request to establish a primary source of an aggregate supply for the construction of all proposed aggregate trails at the new park. Estimated minimum purchased quantities are found in the Contract Documents & Specifications for Claridon Woodlands – Aggregate Bid. These documents can be acquired in person at Big Creek Park's Donald W. Meyer Center, 9160 Robinson Road, Chardon, OH 44024 or by contacting Daniel McConnaughy, park planner:

Hyde Kaplan
Property Improvements

This project involves the construction of
a new park development including public shelters and parking lots along with an asphalt trail system at Geauga Park District’s Hyde Kaplan Property.
The majority of the development will
occur on the northwest portion of the property, just above the existing pond.
A trail connection will be made to the existing Maple Highlands Trail on the south side of the property.
