Stargazers at Observatory Park on Saturday, May 25, caught a surprising glimpse of the train of “Starlink” communication satellites passing overhead between 10:54 and 10:56 PM. Each satellite appeared much as typical satellites do; the unusual thing was that more than 50 of them passed in a closely-bunched line. (We initially mistook it for an airplane contrail!)
Nobody caught a photo at Observatory Park, but astronomer Marco Langbroek photographed the same satellites from the Netherlands the day before.
